An interesting handicap to conclude the card where Black Beauty, Moon On A Spoon, Urban Tiger and Dark Planet form the short list and the vote goes to Moon On A Spoon. James Fanshawe's filly carries a 5lb penalty here courtesy of a one length defeat of Fregate Island over this trip at Ripon last time. This stiffer track should bring here undoubted stamina even more into play and she is proven on the ground, so she can follow up. Black Beauty enjoyed successive wins at Folkestone and Beverley in the spring before the handicapper just about found his measure at Goodwood and from the same mark although he can be competitive he may find a couple too good. Urban Tiger is still a maiden after nine starts and his dam was a 10f winner so has at least one thing in his favour, though he doesn't look good enough, while Dark Planet looks a better alternative having won off 1lb lower and being proven on the ground and over the trip. He should be thereabouts, but we prefer Moon On A Spoon to do the business.
