Verdict

Sea Nymph, Flying Adored, Nouveau Riche, Pickle and Kryssa are five that form the shortlist in this wide open fillies' handicap and the vote is given to Kryssa. The selection has been improving all season and won well last time when beating Deign to Dance at Warwick. She is very game and although she is steadily rising in the weights she may still be capable of getting her head in front again. Sea Nymph looks to be on a handy mark and she ran with plenty of promise on her handicap debut at Windsor last time when second behind Munaawashat. However, she still has plenty to prove and the suspicion is that she will be slightly better over further, although the booking of Ryan Moore does catch the eye. Flying Adored is in good form at present and won well last time when beating Doctor Thong. She has a progressive profile so should again run her race, but she may be at her best with a little more cut in the ground. Nouveau Riche will be suited by this faster surface after finishing second Zweibrucken on a good to soft ground at Salisbury last time. She clearly has plenty of ability and is lightly-raced so has to be of interest. Pickle has had a great season and is from a shrewd yard so is worth noting in the market, but for the winner we return to Kryssa.
