Verdict
NOT ANOTHER MUDDLE came in for good support on his reappearance here at the start of the month. He holds stablemate Darebin on that effort and his run should have blown away any cobwebs so the top weight is taken to account for Sir Egbert, who has gone up 6lb since failing to land the odds at Market Rasen on Boxing Day but is now partnered by the champion. Tara Bridge is only 3lb higher than when taking this 12 months ago and had a recent pipe-opener over hurdles but Ardmayle hasn’t run over fences in almost two years. Valhalla still looks too high in the weights and veteran Grey Gold is making a belated return to action.
