In depth

Verdict

This is a much tougher race than Turaath faced when making a winning debut for Phillip Hobbs last month, and he my be found out today. The same sentiments apply to Rosco, whose long absence is also a negative against his chance. Therefore the search for value ends with Sister Superior, who has some very useful form to her name when there is some juice in the ground. Her proximity to Wave Rock at Hereford last term is probably the best that is on offer today and she can dismiss a below par run from last time if she runs up to her best today. The ex-Aidan O'Brien-trained Columbus has also threatened to win a race somewhere along the line and could be one for the notebook if he goes well today.
