A tight little contest that brings together some in-form rivals - even Kelrev, who has disappointed on his two starts for Venetia Williams, has won a race in France this season and cannot be confidently ruled out. However, the form of Joly Bey's outings this season is working out well, and he has reputedly built up a good relationship with Ruby Walsh - the partnership were always in command when scoring comfortably at Fakenham last time month. He has been given just over three weeks to recover from that run and the fact all bar Kelrev have penalties to carry, means he meets his rivals on much better terms than he would in a handicap. Druid's Glen has the ground in his favour as he bids for the five-timer, but the step back in trip is not sure to bring the best out of him. Therefore Kind Sir is taken as the best alternative.
