In depth

Verdict

Gregarious won twice over track and trip last season but that was on soft ground. Fidux is slipping down the handicap but might benefit from a step up in trip. This is a much tougher task for the hat-trick seeking Sword Of Fate while San Pedro De Senam is having his first run for a new yard but last month's Wincanton second Garo De Juilley has claims, despite a 3lb higher mark, and Wenyerreadyfreddie beat a subsequent three-times winner at Doncaster in March. MARIA'S BENEFIT wouldn't want any rain as she thrives on good going. She jumped well and showed a good turn of foot when getting off the mark at Newton Abbot and Ciaran Gethings takes off 3lb again. Monbeg Oscar also has scope and Most Celebrated and Atlantic Storm look the pick of the remainder.
