Verdict
ARIAN was caught close home over course and distance last month when beaten less than a length. Angels Antics finished back in third and John Flint’s mare is taken to confirm running and go one better. Fourth in a bumper, Holdbacktheriver could go well on his hurdling debut while Incus won on the Flat at Newbury last month and makes his hurdling bow along with Shalakar, a dual winner on the Flat in France last year and debuting for Venetia Williams.
