JOHNS LUCK proved mostly consistent last season and gets a speculative vote on his reappearance having won over these fences last year. Jonagold won at Bangor last month only to disappoint at this venue last time but Gamain won over hurdles at Newton Abbot in September and has won a chase before. Fair To Middling failed to complete a couple of starts in September though was still in contention when falling at Bangor on the first of those occasions but Hedgeinator has posted a couple of poor efforts since scoring at Newton Abbot in August.
