Secret Assassin is chanced against Scrummage and Kasumi. Forcing tactics appear to suit the talented yet highly frustrating individual and he was only unlucky to run up against a couple of horses that were better in with the handicapper than himself when third on his latest start. Sir Michael Stoute's Scrummage is likely to be popular and is open to improvement than most. He has let down the backers on two occasions although the standard of opposition is somewhat weaker than that previously faced. Kasumi has taken some time to come to hand and won well at Salisbury. There is every chance that he is open to further improvement. Mocha Java has won previously on a softer surface so there will be a few question marks on today's likely going. Imperial Gain has struggled since winning a race at Lingfield and may need to come down a few pounds in order to be competitive. Richard Thomas is riding well at the moment and Tiber Tilly has obvious claims on a recent victory at Yarmouth. A tough race in which Secret Assassin gets the nod.
