      Verdict

      Black Beauty is given a chance at the likely odds versus Alhaitam and Midnight Traveller. Black Beauty has been disappointing of late but he revels in fast ground and he can be forgiven a couple of below par runs on going described as good to soft. Alhaitam won unchallenged in a weak maiden at Redcar. He had taken a while to get off the mark in that sphere so it remains to be seen as to how generous the handicapper has been. Midnight Traveller faded after attempting a suicidal gallop over course and distance in July. He could be dangerous if securing a soft lead. Pirouetting finally consented to get her head infront after a number of missed opportunities. This is a stronger race. Luna Landing is a rare runner at the course for Jedd O'Keefe so the market is watched on this very long sortie from North Yorkshire. Black Beauty is no pick on recent form but the hope is that the faster surface will suit and we are prepared to get involved.
