Verdict
The progressive pair No Delusion and Alkawn both step up in class off higher marks in bids to land a hat-trick. The latter has already beaten Plymouth Sound and jockey bookings suggest he is preferred to Muntadab, who failed in his bid for a treble when well beaten in Class 2 company last time. MCCREERY needs to improve on only his second start of the year but has the most scope of these and today's extra furlong should suit the half-brother to high-class ex-stablemate Thistle Bird. Chevallier and Laidback Romeo look high enough in the weights but Castlelyons could go well now handicapping.
