JENINSKY appeared to relish the ease in the surface which he encountered over course and distance last time and a reproduction of his effort would see him go very close; Myanmar and Shindy could well emerge as the biggest dangers. Rae Guest's filly was set some stiff tasks at the start of the season over six furlong trips, that in hindsight were on the sharp side. She may well have found her level here and be set to score. Myanmar was an expensive failure at Yarmouth last time, running very flat in the process. He could well have been flattered by his Newbury victory as it was a poor maiden run in soft ground and many did not get home, making his victory look more impressive than it actually was. Shindy hails from a yard that have been in fine form in recent times and remains open to plenty of improvement after a victory last time while Amber Queen, a half-sister to Spinning Queen is another unexposed filly worthy of consideration. Eastern Gift has dropped considerably in the ratings and showed a glimmer of promise at Kempton last Saturday. Jeninsky is given the vote to land this handicap.
