Go Solo stepped up on his reappearance effort at Leicester last time and is taken to open his account for the campaign at the main expense of Sunset Mirage and Habanero. Like the selection, the last mentioned seems to be running into a bit of form, if his latest effort is to be believed and Richard Hannon's colt has to be respected. Ed Dunlop's Sunset Mirage has not surprisingly been given more to do by the handicapper following her win in a fillies' handicap at Carlisle last month and of more interest may be Sylvester Kirk's all-weather scorer Fit To Fly, who returns to the turf after a break and hails from a stable in form. Mark Wallace's Wychbury has found one too good in each of his last two starts and is entitled to be thereabouts again, while there is probably more to come from the Terry Mills-trained The Way We Were, now that the stable is coming from out of the doldrums. Stef Liddiard's Foley Prince and Jomus, who can race of a nice lightweight, are others to consider but for the vote we side with Go Solo. Barry Hills has his string in good form now and, having shown improved form at Leicester last time, he looks the one to be on.
