Verdict
AREEHAA drops a further pound and is one of the more likely winners of this as Capla Berry is best on straight tracks like Yarmouth and Doncaster. Pearl Bay and Makinitup are both making their handicap debut but Peter Chapple-Hyam’s filly looks the more progressive, though both victories to date have come on ground with some give. Global Acclaim is fitted with a tongue-tie but needs some help from the handicapper and was well behind Trixie Waterbury on her reappearance at Salisbury in June.
