This is another competitive race in which Wee Anthony is preferred to Mouseski and Amanpuri. The selection hails from a yard in fair form and he won well last time when beating Supreme Piper at Lingfield. He improved for the step-up in trip last time and he is clearly a leading player again today. Mouseski rates the main danger as he ran okay over 3m at Uttoxeter last time, so it is a little bit of a surprise that he is now dropped in trip. He has an obvious chance but his hopes would be boosted if this race was over further. Amanpuri has been in good form of late but he normally reserves his best for Fontwell and under a penalty he is opposable today. Mesmeric will have needed his recent run at Lingfield and he may well do better today, but for the winner we will stick with the progressive Wee Anthony.
