Danse Macabre gets the vote in this amateur riders' handicap hurdle with Transit and Pseudonym rated as the main dangers. The selection won over this course and distance last time out when beating Visibility. He will have no ground worries here and with Captain James Snowden a more than capable pilot he is taken to score. Transit rates the main danger as he had a recent spin on the all-weather at Wolverhampton and he won this race last year. He races off the same mark this year but this looks more competitive and his amateur pilot from last season rides our selection today. Pseudonym has got some fair form and he is relatively unexposed, but he has given the impression that a stiffer test will bring out the best in him and for that reason he is taken on. Milligan may prove best of the remainder, but for the winner we will stick with Danse Macabre.
