        Verdict

        This looks tougher than the race Elusive Ellen won at Brighton last month and Little Miss Kodi also won a lower grade contest at Goodwood recently. Carolinae landed a double over a mile earlier but an 8lb rise proved beyond her last time while Bay of St Malo has struggled since winning at Chepstow in July. Alyaa was set a stiff task in Class 2 company last time but had won nicely at Epsom before that, though ARISTOCRATIC makes most appeal in this. She won a maiden race at Kempton on her latest start but an earlier second in a handicap at Goodwood is more pertinent form and the Stoute inmate should go close in this with a similar effort.
