In depth

Verdict

VASARI showed terrific early speed when third over 6f at Chelmsford and has the plum draw here. On that evidence, a drop back to 5f is going to suit and Sir Michael Stoute’s colt, who is a half-brother to three winners, should take all the beating. Master McGrath began with a second over 6f at Ayr. He was well backed that day but very green so will have come on a bundle for the experience. Castel Angelo and Spurofthemoment may need more time but Phuket Power is worth a market check being a half-brother to prolific sprinter Rivellino among others. Qinwan will probably need further.
