Verdict

This rates the harder of the two divisions with all bar one of the field being newcomers. The market will obviously be a key point of reference but PERSIAN MOON showed enough when a respectable fourth to Neverland Rock on his Newmarket debut to suggest that he should be in the thick of the action next time up. He stayed on nicely in the closing stages to be beaten under three lengths by the more experienced winner and can make that valuable experience count. Kingman has made a fine start to his stallion career and King Of Comedy makes plenty of appeal on paper, whilst Fox Premier, a son of Frankel, is another to watch. Topical and Three Comets are others of interest at this stage but the advice is to watch the market and study the outcome with a view to the future.
