      Verdict

      Number One London gets no respite from the handicapper despite only beating a couple home over 1m4f at Royal Ascot. He was a few places behind Carry On Sydney, who is dropped a pound. Seamless only beat two modest rivals at Yarmouth and doesn't look particularly well handicapped either but the assessor has had little to work with in regards to Circus Turn, who may be improving, and NINGARA has only been raised 3lb for scoring over 1m1f here three weeks ago. Thomas Brown's claim takes care of that and Andrew Balding's charge must go close if staying the extra as Endorsing is 2lb higher than when second at Chester last week.
