Mince has been a big disappointment this year and may be worth opposing despite the fitting of blinkers. Kingsgate Native rarely runs the same race twice but is still capable on his day while Spirit Quartz has a touch of class, though both finished behind the three-year-old Bungle Inthejungle in the King's Stand Stakes at Ascot along with Hoyam. TICKLED PINK races over 5f for the first time but has been showing plenty of speed over a furlong extra and made all to beat some useful sprinters in the Abernant Stakes at Newmarket in the spring. She can get back to winning ways as Duke Of Firenze and Dutch Masterpiece both have plenty to prove at this level.
