Ferdy Murphy has got his string in good heart but his runner You're Special has not looked like winning since landing the Kim Muir in 2006 so he looks best watched in a race taken to go to BANNISTER LANE, who gets the vote over Bolachoir. The last mentioned was pulled up in his latest start at Navan but had run well at Clonmel previously and he has solid claims if able to reproduce that form on his return to the UK. Oakfield Legend lost no caste in defeat behind Hermano Cordobes at Newton Abbot last time and, having gone well here until falling on his only previous start at the track, he has to be respected. Wickford has a bit to find on official BHA ratings as does Mr Big but the latter does come from the in-form Charlie Mann stable and he has been running consistently well this term. Several have chances but it is hard to get away from Don McCain's Bannister Lane, who made all when landing the Royal Artillery Gold Cup here last month and a reproduction of that effort may well suffice.
