In depth

Verdict

Alfred The Great, Corker and Golden Square look the three to concentrate on here and the vote is given to Alfred The Great. The selection hails from a yard in good form who do well in this sphere. He is sure to have been well-schooled for this his hurdling debut and with ground conditions very much in his favour he is taken to score. Corker rates the main danger as he came from a long way back to take fourth behind Voir Dirre last time out. His form on the flat is nothing special but he clearly has ability and is certainly one to consider. Golden Square is another who has shown a decent level of form on the flat but he is best on a fast surface so unless the market speaks in his favour then he is probably best watched on this occasion. It will be a surprise of any of the others are able to get competitive and for the winner we are happy to return to Alfred The Great.
