A number of these are well treated on their best form. Taajub is only 3lb higher than when landing a competitive sprint at Ascot a year ago but fifth Dungannon, who wasn't beaten far, is 12lb better off though has disappointed when fancied in both starts this year. This stiff 5f will suit however though, like the speedy Steps, Andrew Balding's charge has been done no favours by the draw. Last month's course and distance winner Lupo D'Oro will also start out wide but Gladiatrix will have no excuses from stall seven and Joe Packet could be interesting against the far rail as he's back on a winning mark and racing over the minimum for the first time since winning over track and trip almost three years ago. PABUSAR signalled a return to form when beaten less than a length York three weeks ago and can profit from a lenient mark here.
