John Gosden has won this three times in the last seven years and ZENON (NAP) is expected to enhance his trainer's record. He's a son of Galileo so the mile won't be a problem and he has already been the subject of favourable reports. Fellow newcomer Mount Moriah is a half-brother to a couple of winners while Red Ensign looks the pick of those with experience. He cost 250,000gns and was a very encouraging third on his debut over 7f at Newbury, though he's not really bred to appreciate this longer trip. Whip Nae Nae and First Quest are likely improvers and should be monitored for future reference.

Mount Moriah Mount Nelson gelding out of Rule Britannia.
Peace And Plenty 16-1 (9-5) Held up, pushed along 4f out, outpaced by leaders from over 2f out, went 4th inside final furlong, no impression, 4th of 7, 8 3/4l behind Maths Prize (9-5) at Ffos Las 7f mdn stks (4) gd in Jul.
Whip Nae Nae (IRE) 14-1 (9-5) Tracked leaders, outpaced 2f out, ridden over 1f out, kept on same pace under pressure final furlong, no impression, 5th of 10, 4 1/4l behind Fly At Dawn (9-5) at Newmarket 6f mdn stks (4) gf in Jul.
