Verdict

RIFLESCOPE was only beaten a length-and-a-half in the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot, despite missing the break. That was a cracking effort and his best so far and he wouldn't need to improve much to get back to winning ways here. Soapy Aitken was fourth in the Windsor Castle so warrants respect while the fillies Ejaazah and Promised Money look useful. The former is the least exposed after winning her maiden at Chester but the latter already has a third in this grade to her name at Naas. This may be too tough for Barbarous Relic and Halsall.
