TAKEONEFORTHETEAM was only beaten a head by the in-form Eponina at Nottingham last month with Transition only fifth. He’s been raised 4lb but rarely runs a bad race. The booking of Serena Brotherton for Always Fearless is an obvious plus while Gert Lush beat Voltaic and Zlatan over a bit further at Goodwood four weeks ago so should find this stiff track to her liking. Mercurist seems best on the all-weather, however, and Top Drop lacks a recent run.
