In depth

Verdict

Majestic Dawn won the Cambridgeshire last year and has been lightly raced this campaign, though remains 10lb higher. Just Fine was a winner at Sandown in July and March Law is due to go up in the weights after an improved second at Kempton and will handle the going. Lord Protector seems to like it here and Rebel Territory wasn’t winning out of turn at Goodwood at the end of July but POET OF LIFE has been an impressive scorer twice on this surface and gets another chance after failing to complete the hat-trick at Sandown last time.
