Unlike in the second division, most of these have racecourse experience but Ascending appears to be going backwards and was behind both Borntobealeader and Everyday last time at Newbury. WARHOL was a little disappointing here on his second start after a promising fifth at Newbury in June in a race that’s worked out well. However, he was still showing signs of inexperience and a rest since may have benefited the Belardo colt. Ascot winner Wanees has obvious claims if handling the easier ground, despite a penalty, while Oasis Gift’s dam has produced useful winners with both of her offspring to so far race so he is worth a market check.
