After a couple of runs behind Shalaa in Group 2 contests, Elronaq was fancied for a lesser race at Doncaster three weeks ago but never looked like winning. He's starting to look as though he may have had enough for the season and is worth opposing here. Recent Newbury winner Tabarrak runs in the same colours and probably has more scope while Richard Hannon also runs Ample, though he hasn't raced since making a winning debut in a three-runner race at Chelmsford in April. Projection ran well in a valuable sales race at Doncaster earlier this month while Unilit is a tough filly. Bint Al Reem couldn't cope with Group 3 company at Newmarket last time but should find this easier. LYTHAM ST ANNES (NAP) needs to improve again on his victory at Epsom but is capable of doing so and could be a bit of value in this with his stable in cracking form.

Ample 8-13fav (8-13) Led narrowly, shaken up over 1f out, ran on, readily, won at Chelmsford City 5f mdn stks (5) pol in Apr beating Lone Angel (8-8) by 5l, 3 ran.
Lytham St Annes (IRE) 2-1fav (9-5) Made all, clear over 2f out, kept on strongly, eased towards finish, unchallenged (hand timed), won at Epsom 7f mdn stks (5) gd in Sep beating Regality (9-0) by 3 1/2l, 6 ran.
