    Verdict

SPANISH STAR is running well at present and the drop back to 6f may suit Patrick Chamings’ strong traveller, who appears to have the beating of King Of Jungle on Newbury running. Beyond Equal hasn’t won this year but has a good overall strike-rate and has slipped to a fair mark. Temple Bruer is on a roll but back on a career-high mark, though Taylor Fisher takes off 7lb. Any rain would boost the claims of Sergeant Tibbs but Hot Chesnut has been raised 3lb for finishing second at Yarmouth where she never looked like catching an easy winner.
