      Verdict

Rain could have an effect on the draw but those drawn high should have the advantage as long as the going remains fast. That means that Charming Tale and Karate Queen may have their work cut out but that things have fallen into place for our selection Mganga as well as Pretty Officer and Duneen Dream. The selection has been plying his trade over further this season and there is a doubt about the suitability of this drop back in trip but we'd expect to see connections abandon the hold-up tactics and force the pace with him. He was certainly ridden prominently when last successful over this trip at Redcar last autumn and he looks very well handicapped on that form. Pretty Officer attracted support prior to her handicap bow here last time when drawn low. She didn't fare too badly in the circumstances and should be capable of reaching the frame if finding a little improvement. Duneen Dream finished just a neck behind Charming Tale at Warwick last time and is fancied to reverse the placings with the draw in her favour this afternoon but, for the winner, we'll return to Mganga.
