Verdict

Panzer gets the confident vote to win the finale with Colloquial and Le Tiss rating the main dangers. The selection won well last time out when beating Nessen Dorma and, in the hope that first time blinkers brings about some more improvement, he is taken to defy the handicapper. Colloquial rates the main danger on his best form but he has been tried over a variety of trips without success of late and is beginning to look tripless so he is passed over on this occasion. Le Tiss has dropped to a handy mark and could go well at a price, especially as he has conditions in his favour. Active Cove is another last-time-out winner that could go well but this looks more competitive and he may be vulnerable under his penalty. Of the remainder, Dancing Lyra is from a yard in form and could improve for the step up in trip but, for the winner, we return to the progressive Panzer.
