Judge gets the call here ahead of Los Cabos, Tempsford Flyer, Wild Fell Hall, Annabelle Ja and Generosia. Judge finished second at Newbury on his debut and, sure to come on for that, looks a leading player today, as does Goodwood debut fourth Los Cabos, whose stable is in good heart. Tempsford Flyer was clearly "expected" last time but failed to deliver although many will be prepared to give him a second chance. Brindisi's half-brother, Wild Fell Hall, is an interesting newcomer, while Annabelle Ja looked well up to winning a maiden of this nature when second at Doncaster last time and is very much respected. As is Generosia, a 220,000 guineas daughter of Generous, and with his stable going well, Gouranga is worth a look in the betting. Finally, the well-bred Girardii should do better in time but, in a race that should certainly be viewed with an eye to the future, we will side with Judge.
