    Verdict

Aqmaar is the pick over Furnace, with Tembanee the other major player. Aqmaar made a great start to his career when scoring at Newbury in July, and that form has since been franked by the third horse Monzante. He did not get the best of luck in running at Lingfield next time, but remains one to keep on the right side of, and this rangy sort has improvement to come. Furnace was outclassed in the Group 3 Solario Stakes at Sandown last time, but he too made a winning debut, at Newmarket earlier, and rates as a threat to the selection, while Tembanee is one-out-of-one after winning on her Chepstow bow, but is dropped back in trip and may be done for toe. The rest make no appeal, and for the winner we return to Aqmaar.
