This is usually won by a decent type but not one favourite has scored in the last ten renewals. Rye House is the only entry to have scored over the trip which he did at Windsor. He's on the upgrade and reasonably treated so it will be a surprise if he's not thereabouts. Al Saham has gone up 2lb for his defeat by Willie Wag Tail at Kempton and this looks tougher while Moon Trip is up 5lb after a short-head defeat at Musselburgh. RULE BOOK still looked inexperienced when landing a 1m2f maiden at Sandown where he battled back after being headed. This trip will suit and he can progress enough to complete the double.
