        Verdict

        NINE TALES (NAP) didn’t look an easy ride at Haydock but is still learning and got the job done despite meeting interference. It will be a surprise if he can’t defy a penalty in this. Bluebird Day may have been racing on the slower part of the track when second on good to soft here a couple of weeks ago and can make the frame again while Micks Dream was runner-up over 6f here in May before his fifth at Windsor. Prop Forward is an interesting newcomer having cost 75,000gns as a foal but it’s difficult to make a case for many of the others.
