Estihlal gets the vote over Missus Links and La Vie Est Belle, with Comeraincomeshine and Wavertree Girl worth considering as well. Estihlal did not get the best of passages when beaten into second by Presto Shinko at Goodwood two weeks ago, and was not beaten too far at the finish. The Green Desert filly had won well earlier at Carlisle and has more improvement to come. A mark of 64 does not look harsh and she is the one to beat, with Missus Links expected to fare better than at Leicester. Richard Hannon's filly stumbled at the start that day and was eased when beaten, but she is likely to make a bold bid to force the pace here over a trip that should suit. La Vie Est Belle is not badly treated compared to her victory at Bath last August and is another to consider for the frame at least, while Comeraincomeshine showed improved form when touched off at Windsor, the move back up to six furlongs obviously helping. In another close one to call, Estihlal is the selection.
