This looks competitive but we will give the tentative vote to Iron Cross with both King of Pentacles and King Supreme worth noting. The selection is trained by the notorious Sir Mark Prescott who has an uncanny knack of getting his horses well handicapped and has one prime candidate here. Iron Cross was busy last season running down the field over an inadequate trip. He has another year on his back and a further four furlongs to cover here and with a mark of 60 he looks sure to be very well handicapped. King of Pentacles is another that has shown a little promise in his three runs to date and runs off what could be a fair mark. He finished mid division in a large field at Bath before running with credit at Lingfield on the all weather last time out so any market moves should be noted. King Supreme could pose as a danger as he has looked threatening off his mark of 65 in similar races. He looks good enough to win a race or two but could be up against a very well handicapped horse in Iron Cross who we return to as the likely winner.
