Tishtar ran with respect on his debut and is taken to break his maiden tag second time of asking at the expense of Finnegan McCool and Klynch. The selection caught the eye at Haydock earlier in the month when second to Danidh Dubai. He was not beaten far that day and will definitely come on for the experience. Finnegan McCool was third of three at Goodwood on his debut. It is difficult to see what he achieved that day as he was beaten just under five lengths by odds on shot Icesolator. The race was run at a false pace but the best horse did win and with a truly run race likely to suit him today he should be noted in the betting market. Klynch has the most experience in the field and did show a marked improvement when fourth of eleven at Windsor last time out. With further improvement still to come he is another to note but for the winner we return to Tishtar.
