In depth

Verdict

Soft ground may have been an excuse for Mark Of Respect last time given he won on fast going at Newmarket earlier but Chepstow winner Mercurius Power disappointed at Brighton recently. Power Station ran well at Ffos Las and is preferred to Bhubezi while Halcyon Spirit was placed yet again in novice company at Wolverhampton and makes his handicap debut. But WILD RHYTHM also goes handicapping for the first time and with first-time headgear expected to bring improvement, the Godolphin charge may prove the one to side with.
