    Verdict

Maydream continued her good progress with a win at Newbury last month and will be hoping the ground dries out. If it doesn't then soft going is no problem for ALSHAZAH. The latter has scored twice on Polytrack but has been placed on more than one occasion on this surface and has a recent pipe-opener under her belt. Kathleen Frances went close in soft going at Chester last time and Quiz Mistress scored in testing ground at Windsor last month but both Gunslinger and Gosbeck have done all their winning on a faster surface.
