Verdict

Judge Frank was very disappointing at Sandown after chasing home the subsequent Vintage Stakes runner-up Iberian on debut and Persica was well beaten at Leicester on Sunday so the second division of this novice stakes may go to a newcomer. Flavour Maker is a speedily-bred half-brother to three winners and should go well. Moyassr is also worth a second look and Pianoforte is from a yard that gets plenty of winners here but FINBAR FUREY is a full brother to three winners, who all won at a decent level, and a half-brother to another so gets the vote.
