Just Dust is taken to defy topweight in the nursery, with Cesc, Diamond Light and Avoid The Cat just a few lively dangers. This appears to be a competitive-looking affair, but Just Dust has already been very profitable to follow, and can make amends for a recent defeat at Newmarket five days ago. He was well in to the tune of 3lb at headquarters after defying a penalty at Goodwood the time before, but was a spent force when the favourite Tobosa came at him inside the final furlong. That was no disgrace as the latter is reckoned to be Listed class, so a quick return to the winners' enclosure is on the cards for David Elsworth's charge. Cesc has been busy and carries a 5lb penalty for opening his account over seven furlongs at Newbury 10 days ago. He makes a quick reappearance after turning out at Wolverhampton on Monday, and if over those exertions, should go well, although six furlongs is as short as he would like. Diamond Light drops back in trip after going close at Newmarket and might be tapped for toe as well, while Avoid The Cat will like the journey on breeding but is perhaps best watched on his nursery bow. For the winner we return to Just Dust who is battle-hardened, a quality that will stand him in good stead here.
