Angel Islington ran well for third in a higher grade at Lingfield in December while both Tamerlane and Marshal Dan were placed on the all-weather last time and the former has undergone wind surgery since. N Over J was placed at Brighton last month though hasn’t scored since making a winning debut but Fieldsman won an amateurs' race over track and trip last month and should figure again raised 4lb. CRYSTAL CASQUE returned to this venue with a third over 6f a fortnight ago. Her rider’s 7lb claim allows her to race off a lower mark than when scoring over course and distance last year so Rod Millman’s filly gets the vote.
