COPPER KNIGHT is drawn in the centre which shouldn’t be too much of a problem. He was well beaten in the race a year ago but was making his seasonal debut unlike here. He was caught on the line at Chester last week and will be ready for this. Saaheq, who is drawn one, was in good form on the all-weather over the winter and improved to land a Class 2 handicap at Musselburgh though a 7lb rise makes this much more difficult. Cowboy Soldier looks a typical improver from his yard and impressed at Kempton but Dark Shot was a long way behind the selection here in October and has a high draw, as does the in-form Poyle Vinnie. Open Wide has never won at this level and is another drawn high.
