In depth

Verdict

Mamdood was an impressive maiden winner and will be popular on his handicap debut but may have to concede race fitness to another three-year-old HARBOUR ROCK, who took a Goodwood maiden last month without too much difficulty and can progress again here. Exceeding Power is a consistent sort and can be involved in the finish, and Wannabe Friends is likely to be more effective at this sort of trip. Zamalight is unexposed though has something to prove at present while British Embassy has been poor this season.
