Baker Man ran quite well on soft ground at Newbury before a moderate effort on Polytrack so the conditions will be in his favour, as they will be for Tullia. She was beaten short-head on soft ground at Lingfield last month before also disappointing on Polytrack at Kempton. Neither is well drawn nor is MARMARUS but Clive Cox' charge made a very encouraging debut over 6f on fast ground here in August where he was unlucky in-running and compensation awaits. John Best's newcomer Mr Wickfield is one to keep an eye on as he's related to a couple of winners around this distance.
