Kastini has an obvious chance at the weights if taking to the surface. His only victory came on very fast going in July but he's run well enough in slightly better company subsequently. UNISON came with a late burst to score over this trip on soft ground at Ffos Las so it was a surprise to see him dropping to a mile in a better race at Bath where he never got involved. Back over today's trip and on an easier surface he can bounce back. It's difficult to evaluate Stomachion, who has been well supported on his last two starts but shown little, though he could quite easily be a blot on this very moderate handicap. The inconsistent Mesmerized may prove best of the remainder.
