Verdict

Jockeyship always plays a part in races like this and Jordan Vaughan will ensure SHUSHU SUGARTOWN gets every assistance from the saddle. Though still a maiden, Ian Williams' filly hasn't really run a bad race so far and deserves some reward for her consistency. It's almost two years since the nine-year-old Annes Rocket last won a race but he was second at Bath last month and Go For Broke has been knocking on the door of late - Gary Mahon's claim should help his cause. Just Isla is back on a winning mark and was second at Brighton last time so also goes on the short-list.
